Application : These Glands are weather proof and water tight and have the provision of earthing. It’s an armored cable with a small washer. It can be used under almost all climatic conditions and may be used with protected PVC shrouds corrosive conditions.

Fitting sequences
- Screw item GB into equipment [secure with item N if plain hole entry
- Pass item CN item W# and item R over cable before commencing to strip over sheath.
- Remove the outer sheath to the desired length
- Pass item W2 over the cable and splay out the armour wire one by one and then cut the armour wire according to the size of washher insert the W! over inner sheath of cable so that bend armour are secured between the two metal washer.
- Push the cable through GB and engage the item CN with item GB and tighten up while doing so the grooved rubber ring with contact in verticle direction and will grip the sheath a cable.
Double compression
These glands are double seal cone grip type. These are weatherproof, waterproof and flame proof for use at hazardous locations such as Chemical plants, Petro chemiclas plants, Fertilizers and in most of the mines in almost all climatic conditions. These glands are approved by central mining research center Dhanbad under certificate no. V/1/1/474 as per IS 2148-1981 and IIC Hydrogen Gas test certificate.
